Our Sawmills NZ Accessories Range
- Set Up —
With the new trailer, setting up the Minimax is made easy.
Just drive the Minimax to your mill site, set up the cross members in position under the beam and using the chain blocks, lift the mill off the trailer and you are ready to start cutting.
- Log Dogs —
For those smaller logs that are hard to hold, we have new Log Dogs.
The log dog claws are made from hardened aluminium, strong enough to grab into the log but not too hard to damage your blades if you hit them.
- Grading Table —
Mahoe Sawmills have a grading table behind the mill.
The operator feeds the cut boards directly onto the grading table. From here the boards are docked and stacked.
- Slabbing Attachment:—
The Slabber is power fed, you can set the fed speed which leaves the operator free to wedge the slab.
- Factory — New machines are assembled, test run and packaged in the same factory. It's an interesting place to visit to gain new knowledge and see new products.
- Grinder —
Because the new grinder is not hand-held, but fixed, all the teeth are sharpened at the same hook angle, so every tooth is equally cutting to give the smoothest possible finish.
- Fine Kerf Blades — We have developed fine kerf blades, down to 4mm for cutting small sizes up to a depth of 150mm. Great for cutting decking, flooring and pailings.
- Customer Support — Sawmills New Zealand Ltd provides full support.
The team headed by John and Ben Bergman are a family business where personal service is a must. We are available via phone, fax and email for support, and in the set up stages we have a team to assist and make sure all aspects of this mill are up running before you fly solo!
